We came into being about 5 years ago after seeing that there was a need locally for helping depressed persons, suicidal people and poor families that are evident in the Cork area and beyond. In His Footsteps was formed as an Outgrowth of another registered Charity that has operated on both sides of the Atlantic since the late seventies.  The work has been extremely rewarding and we have helped many people pick up their lives and move on....and with God's help this will continue !  HOWEVER, let us stress that THIS WEB SITE IS PURELY AND SOLELY FOR DONATIONS FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE MERCY HOME and WILL NOT be used in conjunction with any other part of the work of In His Footsteps !
